Site Surveys & Percolation Testing
Any planning application for a dwelling house in a rural area requires the proposed site to be assessed with respect to its suitability for the treatment of waste water, even when there is an existing dwelling house (increase in occupancy). This assessment is undertaken by means of percolation and water table tests carried out by an accredited Assessor/Engineer (approved by Local Authority)
Openplan Architectural Design can offer a full Site Suitability Assessment service. The site assessments are carried out in compliance with EPA Code of Practice Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems serving Single Houses
While on site (if required) the Engineer can also prepare an EDM Survey of the site to identify boundaries, contours, ground levels etc.
